A red wine made from 100% Lagrein, an under-the-radar grape varietal native to northern Italy, popular with Italian wine drinkers in the know. A fresh, well-structured & full-bodied red that matches best with cured meat, roast, mild game and aged cheeses.
Winemaker: very intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose is intense, with hints of berries, violet and dark chocolate. There is also a slight spicy note. The taste is dry, with the right tannins and sapidity. Soft and velvety, with very persistent taste sensations.
