Rizzi's "baby" Barbaresco - also made of 100% nebbiolo from Rizzi's vineyards but not subject to the same DOCG requirements of Barbaresco (e.g. aging). Compared to a Barbaresco, these wines are lighter, lesser structured and more accessible, while retaining the classic Nebbiolo aromas and flavours!
"On the nose, beautiful fragrance with intense floral component of violet and rose, and a very crisp red fruit, raspberry and strawberry, with notes of black pepper, cloves and liquorice. Taste is full and mellow, balanced, with a nice tannic structure." (Winemaker)
